Confessions are pinned to the GPS coordinates where they were left, so instead of scrolling a feed you browse a place — your street, your campus, a city you are about to visit — and read what people left behind there. No account, no username, and no registration is required to read or to post, and every pin is offset by 10–50 metres so a confession points at a block rather than an address.

How to Discover Confessions
Visit Locations
When you're at a location, open Confession Board. If someone has left a confession nearby, you'll see it appear on the map or in your list.
Explore the Map
Click anywhere on the map to see if confessions exist at that location. Pan and zoom to explore different areas. You might discover secrets in places you've never visited.
Adjust Your Radius
Use the radius slider to search a wider area. Start with 1km, then expand to 5km, 10km, or even 25km to find confessions further away. Use "Explore Nearby" to automatically search a 10km radius.

Finding confessions near you
- How do I find anonymous confessions near me?
- Open the confession map and allow location access, or tap anywhere on the map to look somewhere else. Confessions pinned within your search radius appear as pins and as a list. The radius starts at 1km and can be widened to 5km, 10km, or 25km if your immediate area is quiet.
- What can I do if there are no confessions in my area yet?
- Widen the search radius first — at 25km most populated areas turn up something. If your area is genuinely empty, you are the first person there, and the most useful thing you can do is leave a confession of your own. The board fills in from wherever people start posting, so an empty map is a beginning rather than a dead end.
- Can I read confessions on a map instead of a list?
- Yes. Map view is the primary way to browse. Every confession sits at the coordinates it was left at, so you can pan across a city and see where secrets cluster, then tap a pin to read it. List view is available when you would rather read straight through what is nearby.
- Do I have to share my location to browse confessions?
- No. Location access only sets your starting point. You can decline it and tap any spot on the map instead, which lets you read confessions left in a city you do not live in, or one you are about to visit.
- Is this the same as Catholic confession?
- No. Confession Board is a secular, anonymous website for leaving written confessions pinned to places. It is not connected to any church and does not list Mass or reconciliation times. If you are looking for the sacrament of confession, you want your local parish rather than this site.
